Migrant Health Service (MHS) is a state-funded, specialist, primary health care service for people from refugee and asylum seeking backgrounds settling in South Australia.
How We Can Help Women Living With HIV
We ensure that refugee and asylum-seeking clients with complex health and psycho social issues have timely access to quality health care that acknowledges the experience of forced migration and its challenges.
If you have arrived in South Australia under the national refugee Humanitarian Settlement Services program with a positive HIV diagnosis, you will be referred directly to the MHS for initial health screening, management and support. Our team works closely with other specialist and mainstream service providers to promote appropriate and integrated care for you. Interpreters are provided for all consultations as required.
