SAMESH (South Australia Mobilisation + Empowerment for Sexual Health) offers peer support for people living with HIV, and peer led workshops (PHOENIX) for recently diagnosed men and women.
How We Can Help Women Living With HIV
We run a number of events and initiatives, such as bi-monthly cooking classes, for people living with HIV to connect and network with one another in a safe space. We also facilitate regular social events for people living with HIV through The Institute of Many (TIM), a peer-run online community. Lunch and information sessions are also offered throughout the year.
We also provide financial support for those wishing to attend the national Positive Leadership Development Institute workshops. These are weekend retreats for people living with HIV who wish to be leaders in their community.
